The room was clean and the ocean view was spectacular. Did not expect that for the price i paid. The breakfast was good and worth the price i paid. The best part is the access to the beach! If you are on food hunting in Penang, this is the best place to stay because all the famous places are just 15 minutes away from the hotel if there is no traffic.

The beach is right in front of the hotel, which is easily accessible. At night, the sound of the waves made it very relaxing. Prior to the trip, I saw numerous negative feedback about the food. But I am surprised the breakfast is very decent. Not as what was described. The dinner was nice too. The staff is very friendly and professional.

We arrived late from our check in time. Supposedly at 3pm but we arrived at 10pm and the malay security guy is so helpful with the parking and assisting us with our room and bags knowing that we have baby with us. Im pretty sure that was not his job but because its late night and he didn’t want us to fee uncomfortable from waiting so he helped. The staff ( malay lady ) are also very friendly. We can’t remember her name but she is very very friendly. The environment is great too! It was right in front of the beach so you can hear the sea wave. Our room is sea view and we love it very much. Toilets and the bedroom are clean. Definitely we were gonna come again to this hotel for holiday.

Truly enjoyed the stay. From their strategic location to their great facilities and amenities and friendly staffs, everything was at more than satisfactory. Definitely worth the money.

Everything was perfect. The room was comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly. The facilities were good and its very clean. The access to the beach was also very convenient. The relaxing spot was amazing, the lazy chairs and the poolside was beautiful.

The lobby was open ,airy and bright, with cool sea breeze in hot Malaysia day. Check in was quick, and straight forward. The double bed room was comfortable. I like the filtered water tap in bathroom for drinking water. The lifts were quick and quiet with my room next to it. Hotel pool was clean and shady. All the staffs we met were friendly and helpful.. The room rate we paid was good value. We will definitely return and recommend friends to Mercure

everything was good, exceeds my expectation in terms of rooms n facilities. the kids loved it so much, the beach was just walking distance and pool n gym located same place, convenient for kids to swim n parents to go to gym. stayed at superior ocean suite pool view, the room with the pool + sea view was superb.

The room is very clean and bed, pillows are comfy. They provide 3M filter water which replace the usual water bottle which is absolutely a good idea . The location is very centre , from the main entrance to the beach is across the lobby . I choose the room with ocean view. The room design is good and there is a sofa next to the window for us to enjoy the sea view while taking our evening tea. The sea view is really superb. The beach is beautiful and quite clean . Definitely will choose this hotel again on my next trip.
